Testing

The CanSat is ready now and last week we began to do some overall testing on a field just outside the town. We asked for help from Tanulók Háza, modelling department and they came with us, bringing a nice, big kite. With this, we could raise the CanSat (at first only the outer shell with some additional weight) and then drop it.

Unfortunately, the outer shell from duramide broke (it fell on a really-really pointed cliff), so now we'll have to figure out something else. Also, we'll make a new, bigger parachute. Apart from these incidents, the testing was pretty successful. Next week we'll continue in order to sort out all the problems.
