Landing safe and sound

After having worked with it for such a long time, we obviously don't want the CanSat to get destroyed after the first launch. That's the reason why we decided to use a special cover instead of the normal soda can. This cover is made of duramide, a type of polyamid which is light, but resistent and quite flexible. This way we can make sure that the landing will be safe and we only have to worry about a possible swim in the sea.
We asked Mátyás Botond, a classmate of ours to help us with this part, since he's been building models for a few years now. Thank you, Boti!
The process of the making can be observed on the photos below: they cut a cylinder from duramide, then made a hole in it and polished it until it had the dimensions of the CanSat. The cylinder is 115 mm high and the base has a diameter of 66 mm.
