Testing DHU 2
As I already mentioned this divece was built only for indoor testing (and a bit of entertaining), therefore it is needless to supply it with a battery or an accumulator. I use an adatapter with an output of 12V to work with the DHU (Data Handling Unit). This helps me a lot, because I don't have to worry about the battery going dead.
When connecting it to the computer, we use an USB To Serial Adapter, similar to the one, which was iven with the real CanSat. It is needed, because most of today's computers don't have any Serial Ports (older ones used to have).
